I bought my car like this, Gary, so I don't really know, but I will tell you that this rear end treatment is really cool, IMHO. They sell the whole exhaust system, I'd suggest you give them a call and see how to do it, they very helpful, I've called myself a few times.
But please don't raise the bar in SPB any further. It's hard enough trying to figure out what tweaks are lurking....

 

I'm planning to do bumper cover screens next - across radiators in the front, and the soon-to-be-cut hole for center raditaor, and of course the rear license cut out. Any suggestions on the type of screen? I don't want to spend $100 - $200 on stainless seteel. I was thinking of galvanized 1/4" chicken wire, or maybe even a thick, black, diamond plastic. The plastic would hopefully be resistant to bending, though I suppose it could break.

 

I used the galvanized 'rat wire' because it is cheap and it has more open area for better air flow. The more decorative screens, such as the plastic or aluminum ones, are made of thicker strands and IMHO, block more of the air. I painted the wire black to dress it up a bit.

 

Thanks Frank, i'm building two exhausts (actually having one built, building the Burns muffled one for good ol Limerock myself) and not sure I can get the added piece with V Band clamps, then mufflers on and bends to have them come out up high. Ideally I would like your setup, think it's the best looking by far, so i'll know better when i'm tacking it all together..

I fixed the spoiler struts with a piece of hard tube. I happened to have a short piece that was the perfect diameter. Question, do I need to keep the original spoiler motor aluminum bracket in place, attached to the struts? Without that piece, it seems really unstable.

Also, does the front bumper support stay in place?

I ended up using the aluminum bracket, without motor, to stabilize the spoiler. Also, here's the $9 tow hook (strap) solution. It's rated at 10,000 lbs or so.
