Sold 2 at Sebring, still have one in stock and a couple more on the way.

Soooo much better than arm restraints!

Except when your tall. I drove an SPB with one at a high speed track in a DE and I was amazed at how much it flapped around. It was slapping the top of my helmet and also partially blocking the rear view mirror once the car was really moving. Glad I got to try it out as I had thought about getting a roof net.

I must be the odd man out. I like arm restraints. The drivers who drive the fastest cars in the world use arm restraints - top fuel drag racers. That's good enough for me.

I wish I was tall but I'm only 6'3".

The key is to attach it properly and keep it tight to the cage.

And that could be true. Wasn't my car, so wasn't going to change it.

Being tall in these cars isn't easy as you know.

I installed mine under the cage but I pulled the padding on the cross tube, sandwiched the net between the cage and the pad and then zip tied it tight. I haven't tried it yet but it doesn't seem like it's going to move much.

^ I may worry too much but it's possible for a hand to get above the cage and be crushed if you roll more then once when the net is on the outside like that. I know that the probability is low but putting it on the inside all but eliminates the chance.

Agree - install the net under all the cage bars, cinch it tight with the straps, and then zip tie the mesh to the bars if needed to eliminate sagging in the middle.

Question: If you install it under the bar, what do you use to assist yourself in getting in and out? I typically grab onto the bar with my right hand both ways

Our cages have grab handles/braces by the top of the windshield and the mini FIA bar we use also serves as a handle to assist exiting the car.

Aside from that, the netting should flex enough to grab the bar.
