From the standpoint of pure curiosity and from someone who doesn't even have a racing license, why is the popular consensus a No on c)? "Allow a bolt-on cross tie bar connecting the rear suspension sub-frame sides."
Is it that now here's something else you'd "have to buy" to make it a even playing field?

It's another part to mess with and adds more permutations to solve the problem - more permutations mean more testing
More testing means more dollars
More dollars mean more upset wife
More upset wife means less racing
