Porsche Cracking Down on Flippers?

Ferrari has been doing it for a long time. You flip a relatively new car and good luck getting another new one.

I think Ferrari runs a tight ship. PCNA can't even manage a mailing list.
If they had any brains, they'd have detailed info on all their buyers and market/take better care of them. Right now, they have no clue who anyone is really unless you're a 918 VIP.
So they're going to put together a GT flipper task force? Maybe Martin can head it. Flip a car, and lose a finger or kidney?
Their take >> Why let the flippers make all the $$?? Better to let the dealers profit with ADM's. The author should have asked that question.
What if one sells a car they paid $20K-$50K over MSRP for?? They off the hook then? Instead of speculator you're labeled sucker??

Or...just build more and make it so pretty much anyone that wants one can get one at MSRP. Get rid of dealer markups, saturate the market to the point where people can get them and your flippers go away.

Honestly I don't buy it. VIPs and the other "big buyers" have so much cache and I can't imagine Porsche just giving them a middle finger.
Hell, Groer gets invited down to look at the new GT3 an exclusive event and my measly three Porsche purchases in the last year nets me a "you might be able to get a car later" response. LOL

I call BS on the article they can see what their dealers are selling for, and the crazy ADM's. It's starts with the dealer network.

I agree with his sentiment but, somehow, I don't foresee it happening.

Some dealers are the worst offenders. They hoard inventory and auction to the highest bidder.
In the single arena (dealers) where Porsche could exert control - they choose not to.
I agree with deutschmick - I don't see it happening.
