Ive cracked it!

Can now display oil temp in an app on iOS! at the moment this is 996.2 only but fingers crossed in the next couple of weeks this can be all 996's.

Need to update the UI element for it, but its going good!

Yes i am saying that. Needs a little box installing in the car but then you get oil temp on phone and carplay

 

Oh OK ... So you are building an Interfacer using OEM protocall to tap into the CAN Line and Bluetooth it to the Phone via App , right ??

 

Pretty much. 996.2 over can and ble and 996.1 over k-line

Is this for 996.2 turbo only, or all 996.2? The website makes it seem as only turbo. Thanks

 

I need to find some one with a non turbo to test with. I believe it will work. Im happy to send one out to test.

 

996.2 C2 here.. but in Australia... you need to test south of the equator

 

996,1 in NYC I’m in lmk if you need a test subject
