992.2 GT3 Touring Allocations
What is speculation when allocations would become available for the 992.2 GT3 Touring.
Just wondering when I should start offering "Favors" to the dealerships :-)

I think we should all take a moment to appreciate having @C.J. Ichiban on these forums. He shoots us straight with what he knows / can tell. Lot of dealers out there and we get some perspective from one of the good guys. Thanks dude.

What favors, it's going to be set by the market. Pay ADM or buy many stupid cars that depreciate rapidly and pay less ADM. Dealers are no longer leaving anything on the table because of perceived loyalty or favors in the major markets at least...

Not necessarily. There are still good dealers out there. I for example got a Winged GT3 allocation at sticker after purchasing 2 other 911's over the past 2 years. Granted, I went from a base C2 to a C2S to a GT3 in 2 years. But I wanted every car, not like they made me buy a Taycan or something. And I got to upgrade as allocations became available. I chose to trade in each time (not a requirement) and I lost $8k on the C2 after 10 months and 6k miles and ~$6500 on the C2S after 7 months and 5k miles. I've been very happy with my dealer from an allocation standpoint. So it basically has costed me $750-850/mo in deprecation to drive a 911. Well worth it IMO.

I'd assume that the ADMs for 992.2 Tourings will be $50k-$75k over and they'll probably release allocations next year for delivery in late 2025.

Most likely little correlation but the first wave of buyers of .2 base and GTS carreras on here have been reporting minimal ADM if at all.

I think the question is that when is the launch of the 992.2 GT3 ? Touring package came at the same time for 992

Of course these should soften a bit with time but initially they will be quite high

Good Porsche dealers still exist, I'm lucky to have one as well. It is interesting how much it upsets others that don't have a relationship with one, to which they then assume none can exist otherwise

Are dealerships charities or businesses? You missed his point. The dealer gave him a fair trade in value for his C2 and C2S, to which I'm sure they then sold them for market value to someone else. That's how every car dealership on the planet operates. There is supposed to be a delta between trade in value and market value otherwise they cannot make money on used cars.

There is just my experience....the cars that I traded in to my dealer were marked up by about 10%-15% above what they offered in on the trade in. I benefited by 8.35% as that's my sales tax credit in credit so that shrinks the delta for me.
