Default 992.2 delivery dates in USA

Hi! Im currently in US, and originally wanted a 992 GTS but I haven't heard from my dealer about allocations available at this time in US. But for base model, there's one set to come for this December. What are you guys hearing for delivery dates in US?

GTS allocations very very few with delivery in Oct/Nov. Carrera Cab is pretty much open. Carrera Coupe is more limited but I know of two dealers that have them at MSRP. If you are interested msg me and I introduce you to the dealer. Delivery Oct/Nov.

A couple of us with 992.2 base models have been updating each other on delivery dates as the app doesn't have ETAs

I am in India, and I supposedly have an allocation for the month of August and delivery in November. This is for the base 992.2

I have a commission number but I find it weird that I would be potentially getting the car faster than you guys in the US?

Or is the sales associate making it up and is full of crap?

I have no idea....Lets wait and watch.

Don't forget once they hit the shores here at least the first few will be delayed. The whole new model pass inspections blah blah.

My base 992.2 deliver is October 25th per the dealer's system.

Freeze date was going to be July 17 but it happened on July 10 -- so hopefully a good sign!

My base is scheduled for delivery late August but dealer says they think it'll get pushed to Sept though he could be trying to under promise and over deliver

I have a base Carrera coupe on order. I expect a mid-September delivery here in Houston. I think some of the west coast cars are experiencing Panama canal issues.

'For those folks who have ordered a 992.2 base Carrera - and since they are not available yet to test drive one - I am assume you have perhaps driven a 991.2 base AND a 991.2 Carrera S to compare and contrast? If some of you have, I'm curious why you decided on the base Carrera over the S. I drove a 992.1 base against a 992.1 Carrera S and the base car left me a bit flat. The additional HP and torque in the S made a dramatic difference and this was in non-aggressive back road driving. I have a base 992.2 allocation available to me, but I suspect a back-to-back drive of the 992.1 and 992.2 car would essentially be the same. Thoughts would be appreciated!

Firstly, there is no 2025 S yet as I'm sure you know.
That being said, given the base 992.2 has the 992.1 GTS turbo and better intercooler, I expect the tuners will LOVE this car....which is why I went with the Base.

I drove the 992.1 Carrera back to back with a 992.1 Carrera S4 and the base left me seriously wanting the S4. It was quite a contrast. I went ahead and ordered a 992.2 base as i did not want to wait forever to get a new Porsche and with the hope that tuners would be able to improve the performance with all the added plumbing in the base model.at a reasonable price. I am still not sure about the new base .2 as i am not excited by the .2 front facia and the Sport Design front facia.

2025 992.2 Carrera Base Ordered with a possible delivery in late November/December. Hopefully the CA EPA debacle will be completed by this time, but our dealer told us do not count on it with delivery in January. Our 992.1 sat in San Diego for over three months waiting for the CA EPA police.

I was offered a 992.2 GTS allocation a few weeks ago for a December delivery. Told my SA that I'm holding out for a European Delivery next spring/summer!
