Default What did you do to your 997TT today?

Searched and did not find one like the 996TT thread so here we go!

Finally had the 7TT detailed and ceramic coated. Too bad it has to wait another 4 months to get back out onto the road.

Purchased, picked up and installed something that I have always wanted for my car. To say that I’m excited about them would be a huge understatement.

On top of finding a set that was somewhat local to me, I also had the pleasure of devirginizing them, as they were BNIB never been used.

Lightweight carbon bucket seats.

This is single-handedly my favorite “mod” on this car... if it could even be considered one; as they carry OE PORSCHE part #’s.

They are so light! The interior of the car now feels and smells new. Riding down the road with them puts the driver in an optimal upright position and the seats really hold you in place. I will probably do the mod on the driver seat that angles the front upward to tilt the entire seat in a slightly more reclined position.

In terms of comfort, the factory 18 way adaptive seats take the cake. But these are by no means uncomfortable by any stretch.

Entry is not terrible. Standard palm on rocker panel to support your body as you slide in place makes for a no-bolster contact procedure.

I highly recommend these seats to anyone looking at getting them.

Installed 997.2 sport steering wheel in my .1, added stainless steel door sills. Also pulled out the cracked carbon Center console and wrapping it in Alcantara.

I ordered the proper cover for my car. My 2006 C2S cover won't stretch over the spoiler . :-)

Default Nuthin...

She’s hibernating until spring. But, I always appreciate the various threads on RL to keep me engaged.

Treated my leather to step 1 of the 2 step Leatherique process. Step 1 is apply the Rejuvenating Oil, then let it bake for a day.

Step 2 this evening will be clean off the oil and dirt with Prestine Clean. Wish step 3 was a short road trip, but no can go.

I know, it's the wrong treatment so I've been told. But I like how it looks, smells and feels.

The alternative is I have to listen to my wife give me a summary of the latest DNN - Doomsday News Network.

My small gym and personal trainer are closed, so I also get a stretch and movement workout.

Very nice! How involved is it to remove the bumper, alone?

Removing is easy. Putting it back is when you need an extra set of hands to get it aligned correctly. Here is a good diy on 6speed
