What did you do to your 958 today?
Good morning All
I have seen a lot of posts on our forum that could have been summed under this title, so I figured why not start a thread to keep tabs on all regular maintenance and repairs, additions, modifications (anything and everything)
For starters..
I gave the car a much needed wash and did some amateur Paint correction. Took a while but I am slowly un-doing all the car wash damage done by previous owner. I dont have a professional grade buffer so I will probably be paying someone to do proper paint correction in spring and then just maintain the paint by polish, glaze and sealants

I recently had some serious paint correction done on an older car and finally found someone good again after a few misfires. Also, if you decide to go the Opticoat route, I can report back on that in a bit. Going to have the Giulia QV done soon. PM me and I can send you details. Today all I did was call the dealer to get an update on one of our diesels, as its been under the knife for over a week to fix the common oil leak issue.

Burning Brakes
Last week I replaced the water pump, thermostat & serpentine belt. Followed that a couple of days later & replaced the fluid in the diffs and TC. Next week I'm having all the TPMS sensors replaced.

Drove it (it's been sitting in the clean warm garage a lot lately)
Recently though I did have it at the P dealer for the AH08 recall, oil/filter change, minor coolant leak fix, and PTV+ rear diff fluid change.....all good to go!

Today....just ordered brand new front headrests with the Porsche crest from Suncoast! Will be 3-4 weeks coming out of Germany.
I already have the rear ones with the crests which Suncoast happened to have in stock in my color on deep discount just before the holidays. Of course I need the fronts to match now. Wanted these for quite a while!

Advanced
I gave it a couple weeks ago a 100% everywhere where paint touches paint protection with a local guy in Palm Beach, he used Suntek 10 year warranty and I also added the quad tips and did a model deletion. Also full panoramic limo tint

I detailed, then detailed, then detailed some more. Managed to get three cars detailed and one more washed over the course of three long days. It's nice to have the garage all dialed in. Also shod the Cayenne with a set of the new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S's. Michelin has a new thing called Premium Touch, where the area round the Michelin lettering and the racing flag is laser etched and is so fine, it actually looks and feels like Alcantara. If you have't seen or felt it yet, it's pretty cool.
Anyways, just tossing up some pics as everyone likes pics. Enjoy them.

Had paint correction done (thanks Andrew)
Pictures and my camera skills can't do justice..
car is brand new again. You know your detailer knows what he is doing when he chooses to NOT use glaze to hide all imperfections but spends 3 hours fixing them..

So the last two shots are before and after? Looks good.
So he's running a 3401. Can you elaborate on the polishes and process he used to get your car up to snuff?
