i decided to have proper paint correction done, instead of using glazes and waxes to hide the damage
yes he did use a couple of flex buffers. I was not present for most of the job (house renovations also taking place at same time) but know that he used a combination of cloth and foam pads, a polish hybrid to carefully correct paint and finally a sealant.
I plan on getting a ceramic coat fo m the same guy by fall. Need to get front rock chips etc taken care of first.

New to the forum and just picked up a new to me 2011 Cayenne S with 60,000 miles on Thursday. Since then, the paint has been buffed with Pinnacle Deep Compound and Pinnacle Advanced Finishing Polish, followed by 2 layers of Pinnacle Liquid Souveran. I was really impressed with the removal of merely all swirl-marks and watermarks by the compound and polish combo. The following coats of Souveran added that nice deep paint look. Attacked the inside afterwards with some leather cleaner and conditioner and was equally impressed with the results.
After the extensive detailing, I added:
20" RS Spyder Wheels
Clear Side Markers
Quad Exhaust Tips
Black Porsche Plate Frame

I did this, not today, but very recently. Ordered a while back from Suncoast Porsche and just arrived from Germany....headrests with Porsche crests front and rear.
