Disclosure: The car was hit in the rear in 1994 and repaired at an excellent NNJR PCA-recommended facility. I've never had any drivability problems, and the paint has held up well.
Issues: The dashboard top is cracked. There is some paint fade on the sunroof. The dashboard gauge lights are very weak at night (it's a common problem). The stone guards are well worn. The leather shift boot has slight wear. The car has been outside for a good portion of its life; there is some underbody rust, but, according to the techs at BodyMotion, it's nothing serious.
I'm selling this car to reduce my automotive assets; I just sold my 993 after going to a more modern platform, the GT4. The car drives really well, especially on the new tires, and it looks pretty good too. I seriously would not hesitate to drive this car across the country. The car is located in east-central NJ. From what I can tell from the market, the 968s and 944s, especially the Turbos and S2s, are appreciating, so I believe it's reasonable to ask $9,944.00, OBRO. Please contact me via PM or via e-mail at s4caster@gmail.com and if anyone wishes to chat I will provide my phone number.
Thanks for looking and thanks for your interest!

I know it's nigh on winter, but I'm hoping somebody's looking for a nice 944S2. So, I'm bumping this up to the top. I've had some mild interest, but the car is still available. Thanks for looking!

Bumping this up to the top...
I've had some inquiries, especially on my CL ad, but no serious offers as yet. This is a really pretty and pretty nice car, and I think it's a good value especially considering comparables. If no serious interest is shown, I'll wait until spring. I drove it today, and it drives like it did when I purchased it. Thanks for looking!

Hi gts4, I still have the car and it's still for sale. I saw your PM and had responded to it; perhaps it didn't get back to you for whatever reason. As we've just had our hopefully final snow of the winter, I'm planning on stepping up my advertising on this car. Please let me know if you need an e-mail or a phone number. Thanks so much for your interest.

With spring springing, I'm bumping this ad to the top. I just had the A/C recharged and it blows cold air; no leaks were detected. This car drives very well and looks pretty good. Thanks for looking and for your interest!

OK, RLers, I'm bumping this to the top for the weekend. Please don't make me have to sell this on CL. It's a sweet-driving 944S2; I just drove it this afternoon for some errands, and it's peppy, handles well, and looks pretty good for a near-30 year old car. New tires, new belts, AC works, sunroof works, pretty color combo. I hope to pass this car on to a 944 fan. Thanks!
