is it possible to remove the weissach stripe via CXX?

the hood is the same part.
the roof should also be ok without stripe - as long the carbon is looking good also in the middle.

It would be nice if through CXX option the whole frunk, roof, and rear deck lid are all exposed carbon fiber. I think it would have looked awesome that way, with the painted carbon fiber front fenders. Carbon fiber does not turn yellow nor fade that easy, plus coloring the carbon fiber components add weight to the car.

I think Porsche likes to establish lately the double stripe identity for their specialty cars such as they have done on the 911R and now the GT2RS.

Drive safe,

If I remember correctly years ago when the 997.2 RS 4.0 came out Porsche said it weighed less to paint the wing than it did to clear coat the carbon like on the regular 997.2 RS.

Here's a nice take on the car from Automobile Magazine.

http://www.automobilemag.com/news/fi...he-911-gt2-rs/

Out on public roads, however, is where the GT2 RS’s madness really hits home. On open, empty racetracks, you don’t notice outright speed as much as you might expect, but real-world settings have a way of snapping the big picture into focus. That’s why laughter accompanies the sweep through that constant-radius right-hander, the type of corner that bores you to tears in most cars. Here, though, the entry speed is high, but rather than protest with even the smallest of wiggles or an understeering push, the 911 simply digs in and hangs on all the way through as if its wheels are wrapped in flypaper rather than rubber.

It's not the new 3RS, that's here: https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...-2-gt3-rs.html

That wing is surely too big for a road car, I'd guess it's a race ready variant of the GT2RS.

Is anyone able to create a realistic rendering of the car in black with the WP and gold wheels? The quality of the images on the configurator aren't great...

Funny, I️ was just going to say how JDM unfinished the first and last cars looked, almost like someone forgot to finish the design. To me I️t looks like they’re trying to shame owners into taking Weissach as the base option looks so badly.

350kph is crazy. That's like 315 ft in 1 second, or more than a football field in a second. I saw around 8.5 seconds to 200kph and 21 seconds to 300kph.

The on-line builder gives a decent 3d image.

Porsche GB build slots FINALLY hit the system today. Few folks received phone calls, very happy to say I got my assignment. Yay! Build date is January, delivery end of February.
