not sure if this has been posted before but $15k for an 86.5 with 64k miles seems like a screaming deal. the car is crying for different wheels, though.
also, as I was browsing i stumbled on this ad and did a double take when I read the end of it...

is this guy nuts or is it just me? who's going to buy a car without driving it first?

Make appointment to see. You will be given a ride in the car, but will not be allowed to drive it on your own until you own it. No warranty offered.

This one came up previously I think.
Paint gone. Starts. Runs. Clutch feels okay.
NOT an 85. This a US 83 5 spd.
He will ill take less than 3k as he was already down to that within 5 min.

Sold cheap! $9200. I know the mechanic and he said it was s nice car when he did the last $2100 service on the car. What should an OB auto go for these days anyway?

If it was an '78 or '79, it would've been sold for $13-15k without a sweat.

Always liked the car, but it just seems like the sale never goes through. Price is fair if the car in person meets the pics. The blue interior can be hard to tolerate if one doesn't like the color (like burgundy interior for me). If I don't already have a completely restored '79 auto in a better color combo (petrol blue/cork), I would've been on this.

Also, this car would really do well being marketed properly. The seller did a decent job with pics and info but it really needs a professional to bring it over the top.
I like the car. Considered it but the fact that it has been on the market for a year or more caused me pause. This car needs to be put away before offering for sale again.

Becareful what you wish for . I may have an 1-owner '89 auto with only 22k miles (backed up by carfax) with perfect interior available for sale if you are serious!

This GTS was for sale about a year ago. I can't remember what folks on here said about it, but it wasn't good.

^ Nice looking car, really like that color and Uni-Stoffe interior is in excellent condition! Needs an original radio and top end refresh to take this to the next level. I didn't realize the that they carried the one-side mirror into 1980. Was that normal?

Good candidate for a restoration. One owner, relatively low mileage '78. I spoke to the original owner over the phone a couple of years ago. I'll bet the rubstrips and rear spoiler are just held on by adhesive, but obviously I'd want to check it out first.
