[QUOTE=GT6ixer;14450117]Dennis' next offering on BaT. '78 5-Speed
Hi Nate - thanks for posting. This is a great car! If I had more space, you probably would not see it up for sale. It was a great car when I bought it, but it needed some things finished and a few problems solved that the previous owner could not figure out. I also replaced the lower ball joints that were original and had it aligned. The car looks, runs, drives and shifts great!

Well, the rennlist member who saw the car and test drove it gave a most interesting report here. It leaks oil like a sieve, for one thing, and that alone will cost major bucks to put right. There's surely a lot of other things, the car hasn't really been driven in over ten years. It adds up fast unless you want to do the work yourself.

Edit: found the thread, interesting discussion.

A/C is inoperable and needs maintenance, not sure if it still has aluminum ball joints

1980 928 for sale (Northern Virginia)
87k miles
automatic
Special order Black Metallic paint
Sun Roof
The paint is original and has some minor surface scratches and slight fading on roof.
The body is straight with one small very shallow dent on left door. Should be able to remove dent with PDR (paintless Dent Removal) service for about $100.00
Interior is in good condition but the front seats do show some wear. The passenger seats leather has become somewhat hard and the pleats have flattened somewhat.
This is not an euro S model. We were told the original owner had the dealership install the spoilers and wheels when purchased new
Just replaced the master cylinder and break booster. Also replaced the odometer gear last month (roughly 50 miles put on it while broken.) I noticed a shop had removed the cluster back in 2001 and marked the cluster but do not know why. Two electric problems with car. The rt tail lamp stays lit when car is running whether the lights or on or not and the battery will drain unless the interior lights fuse is pulled. The front spoiler is broken on right side.
The car is rust free and runs and shift well. Has been in storage the past eight years. This is not a show car but is a very nice all original survivor. Also comes with 4 new tires (Hankook) that are not mounted.

Jesus those are nice...love the petrol - swiss delivery with no rear fogs...nice...and I've never seen that green interior - black vinyl with black/brown pasha and green carpet. Both wonderful. I also like how they will only sell one of the two and are keeping the other.

Wonder if the petrol is the Lambright car after the resto
Kidding aside, those are some beautiful machines!
