what is not right with the GT3RS

I think you sit a little too low in the car. I'm 6'2", another 1" of seat height would be nice, I think there would still be clearance for a helmet.
As mentioned, overall the car is a little big dimensionally, the air cooled 911's look tiny when parked next to each other.

I can't see those carbon bits on a car that's regularly tracked. Mine with just under 13K miles has the side skirts pitted and ready to replace; same with lip (2nd already); and the air intakes. Luckily, they are plastic and a few hundred to replace. All wear items. Not so much if CF. I think using plastic was the right choice for a car built for tracking.

as said in other posts, depends on what you do with the car. carbon front splitter and track time do not, in the long run, do well together, neither do the vent louvers with hot tires and rocks.

Love everything about the PDK system - except the stock paddles. They don't have the same high end tactile feel as other makes (especially Ferrari) and they're too small for my liking - sometimes find myself reaching for them on corner exit. Just bought a set of CF extenders from Vivid Racing and so far so good. They affix via two sided tape and the fitment around the stock paddles is very tight and consistent. The feeling of the CF is very good though the weave pattern is not an ideal match with Porsche's OEM. Cost was $300 for CF - I think 1/2 for metal extenders.

Paddles are too small
Too much sound deadening
Rear steering is a little bit of acquired taste
Please say no to more forced options on the car. It's supposed to be cheap and modular to replace chin spoilers etc

...carbon curb feelers! Is that an option that will bring greater resale??

Agree on the 3RS, but the RWS has been much improved and recalibrated on the R and the .2GT3, so will assume next RS will be a lot better.
The times I drove the RS hard on track, It felt like RWS wasn't working quickly enough (at the limits) to keep up with what you wanted the car to do. Don't think it was as loose as it felt though, it just took a bit of getting used to, and will be a lot better next time I'm sure. I still like RWS, for what it does to turn in and agility.
(Don't really see it as a driver aid, it just makes the car work better).

I feel nothing but more front grip.
Most planted *** end I've ever driven. I think something isn't right on the cars you drove.
