My wheels were thoroughly coated all the way through the barrel, was pretty well done by someone else. In a few spots the pasti dip was no longer plyable and I had to use goo off and bug and tar remover which worked well but was slow. I just finished one wheel and think the results were excellent. This time I used black with a metalizer top coat. During the process I also noted that the plasti dip did a great job protecting the original wheel, I did not find a single scratch after having it on for nearly 2 years, about 8k miles and two track days.

Just did another wheel in about 30mins. This time I removed what came off easily with the wheel dry (the previous wheel was washed before removing the plasti dip). In areas that the plasti dip did not peel, I let the bug and tar remover soak in for about 15mins and the plasti dip rubbed off with a damp rag fairly easily.

Stoddards
Drove the 997 over to Highland Ohio for the swap meet. Lots of new and old Porsches. Rusty parts. Great people. Met Chuck Stoddard. Perfect weather. Fun day and drive.

Went to Watkins Glen today
My son and I drove 150 miles through heavy rain to get to Watkins Glen International for the PCA club races. Here are two pics of the 997 at the track. The weather was great and there were over 250 cars racing.
