Awesome build! Subscribed. Any plans for exhaust? Fabspeed Sportcats with Fister II's and wide ovals would "round" it all out nicely.

Let's hear more about the AST coilovers. I run em on my track car. Didn't know they made em for the 993.

Yes Sir and thank you! I have a set of alcantara GT3RS seats and a set of GT2 buckets laying around that I would like to mess around with and fit into the car. Also would like to convert the interior to black to match. Already have the RS wheel installed (with the help of Rennlist) of course. I ordered the targa 1 switch center console trim for my sunroof switch relocate and i am removing the rear spoiler switch completely (clubsport wing) so i can install the RS front cubby. Cassette holder is getting removed as well. would like the cupholder replacement but cant seem to find it yet. As tempted as I am to do a full interior build and remove the rear seats/add roll bar,etc... I enjoy my little son coming for drives with me so I'll do the daddy thing and keep them in for now, he loves the "red bug" lol.

Thank You!! Yes sir, already did my own version of a gundo,rs,fister type deal. had the shop cut them open, gut packing, weld a connection tube and seal them back up. then did the exterior bypass as well. Don't know which combo that is but I thought it would sound good and it does. A Fabspeed cat delete X pipe is coming up shortly. ordered but they seem to be a 6 weeks behind schedule build time so I have to wait, unfortunately. Fabspeed wide ovals will be on in a couple days. I agree , I cant wait to hear it with the x pipe. these car sound so awesome.

Will do, the second we dial it in I will give you guys the feedback for sure. I was told they have been running them in europe for a little while with great feedback from the 993 crowd.

I opted for the single adjustable 5100 series, fully upgrade-able later on to 2 or 3 way's . full aluminum bodied... here is a quick run down off their website.

Floating piston design with high pressure nitrogen means no cavitation around the piston.
14mm diameter internal shaft.
44.5 mm diameter shaft struts, inverted.
Steel cylinder body shocks, inverted.
High end, track ready suspension.
Rebound adjustable (''Singles'').
Low friction seal.
Adjuster ***** permanently mounted on the dampers.
Rubber bushings for ''eye'' shock mounts.
Optional spherical top mounts.
Optional DLC Coated shafts.
Optional DDP piston (double digressive).
Rebuildable.
Optional custom valving.

Alex from PERFORMANCE EUROWERKS swears by AST. He runs them in his track car, clients track cars and street cars and says they are a quality product with very little trouble at all. "High quality" especially at pricepoint. I trust him so I thought why not.

These look pretty! 5100 series. Did you order them with the top mounts front and rear?

Got it back about a week ago and decided to go to town on the undercarriage . 4 bottles of engine degreaser , a pressure washer and 4 hours time. The results are incredible. Here are the before pics .

Wow! Impressive! Looks like I need to get to work on mine. What degreaser did you use?

gunk heavy duty gel
Gunk foam x 2 bottles
one zep heavy duty engine degreaser

doing it all over I would have skipped the zep and used another bottle of foam.

Spray it on, let it sit for 20-25 min
put a rain suit on and get ready for a lot of fun. Very rewarding process. Pressure washer shreds the grease , cosmoline etc. takes some time but works.
Beats scrubbing
