Trophy, glad you had a good time with your CAD and machining work. I use Fusion also and love every project that gets created from nothing.
Also I just went through your build/photo thread. Really impressive stuff. My dream is to someday add ITB and whatever else I can afford instead of a TPC S/C. Thanks for curating that thread so well with all those great photos.
Today I charged and reinstalled the battery. Put on my new "Porsche" script license plate frame and installed a new pair of rear speakers. It's fun getting her ready for her maiden 2017 voyage.
Today I finished reinstalling my fan and shroud after refinishing them. I had the fan painted with silver Cerakote epoxy paint, and I painted the shroud with satin black VHT spray paint. This completed my winter to-do list of replacing the clutch kinematic link, the spoiler wall, and the spoiler worm drive bearing. Ready now for some nice spring weather to put on some miles.
^^That fan and surround look sweet! During my top end rebuild, I painted my fan (yellow) but I wish I had done the surround at the same time. That's getting added to my to do list...
Currently am chipping away at compounding and polishing clearcoat after a full respray. Have smoothed out some light orange peel on the roof and hood, next come the front fenders. Will cover entire front end with Xpel PPF when done.
Bought mine mid winter and finally had a weekend nice enough to take it for a ride. Went and got my inspection sticker after a 30 minute ride to warm it up. Love it.
After 4 months of sitting I turned the key and she started right up. It brought a huge smile to my face. After letting her warm up for a few minutes, I went for a nice drive in the country. My area of WV has some of the nicest twisty roads found anywhere and very few troopers. The car handled great. I've only owned the car for 7 months and 4 of those months it was put away for winter. I forgot what a great handling car the 993 is. It's like a go cart!
This winter, I discovered a small tear in my steering rack boot. I was able to knock it out in about an hour and then enjoy the weather in the NE with a first drive of the season today.
I sliced the old boot off, disconnected the inner tie rod from the shaft with 2 19mm wrenches, cleaned and greased the rack and boot ends, slid the new boot on, reconnected the tie rod, and pulled new boot with hooks made of coat hangers as other rennlisters have done. Pretty painless.

I have really enjoyed designing stuff in Fusion 360, Now all I want to do is find things to draw and make

Thanks for the kind words, I need to do some more updates, I have a ton more photo's.....
Finally got around to the final coat of paint on the brake calipers I've been working on. Could just be me, but the first can of VHT seemed to run a bit. The last can worked flawlessly.
