With all due respect to Cobalt, Iris Blue is best
I actually picked parts off of that. iSpeed and I skipped work one day and took a drive to pick over it. It's HVAC head lives on in Iris. It's Big Blacks upgraded iSpeed's '87. Various other bits are spares on my shelves.
We *almost* got the transaxle for $1800. But, when the guy noticed how many random weird parts we were negotiating for, he decided to do some research before selling the big bits.

Is Iris blue one of those anaemic looking shades of blue?
Friend of mine when they were new had a 93 GTS that was this horrible shade of blue that had a sort of greenish tinge to it- it looked awful! I do hope that is not Iris blue.

I have seen some amazon green cars that just were lifeless due to poor upkeep. I have two in that color and they vary considerably however I get a lot of compliments on both. I would trade my Amazon for either Cobalt or Iris but it still is a striking color. I love it when everyone says what a beautiful blue car and then I tell them it is considered green.
Here is cobalt, amazon and maritime all together but under bad lighting.

Yes. Mine was the one that was parted out. I did not realize that it was the only one. I bought it in Colorado Springs from the original owner back in 1998 or so. I owned it from 21K miles to about 42K miles.

No- the shades in your pics are all quite pleasant. The one I have in mind was just awful to look at. Difficult to describe, not a deep colour sort of between a pale mid blue and a pale green- urrrgh! Makes me cringe thinking about it.
The engine in it ultimately suffered TBF and the owner plonked a knackered S4 motor into it. I believe it then had a biggish accident and disappeared from view.
