Talks about the 928 being the new classic. If you don't understand the language, just turn down the volume and enjoy the views..

This car is the property of Porsche France. It was bought at the end of 2015 and restored by the Classic department of Porsche France since.

It was on display during Rétromobile 2017 and will be at the Euro 928 2017, with the CEO of Porsche France, Marc Ouayoun, at the wheel.

We are really lucky to have Marc Ouayoun as the CEO of Porsche France. He is a real car enthusiast

This is a 1993 manual GTS, without sunroof, and that is very unusual.

Also, you can see Philippe Delaporte into this video. Philippe and his 1989 928 GT will also be present at the Euro 928.
If you don't know Philippe, you may spend a little time to read these two threads:

Very nice video, thanks for posting!
And another proof that our cars are finally being recognized as they deserve!

I was so heartbroken when they parted out the only US spec Cobalt blue GTS 5 speed in the US. I wanted that car in the worst way. I always knew cobalt worked well on these cars although it wasn't until I saw Bertrand's that it solidified it in my mind.

Thanks for sharing

Today was a very nice 30C. The iceberg is Fahal Island [uninhabited] - it is about 5km offshore and we often go racing around it on the Hobie 16's if and when we have decent winds which ironically is during the summer around August time. The sea breeze and spray help keep us cool despite 40C+ heat.

Cobalt looks very much like Minerva blue in direct sunlight. It's truly the best color, just hard to photograph

Great video, thanks for posting! 3 things I noticed:
#1 - Is it just me or are people turning their heads as it goes by at ~6:30
#2 - Amazing how much more headroom there is without the sliding roof
#3 - $5 says there's a toilet bolt on the rear reflective strip

No sunroof = different car imo. I would love to have one. Not only for headroom but sitting position is better. (Higher being better). It could go another couple of inches up to get off the floor, view the glorious hood length.

Big gap between dash and center console. Mice could get through there.

Default Thanks

That was very nice to watch and hear their thoughts on the car. Also a bit bittersweet, as it's very much like my previous GTS, which was also Cobalt Blue Metallic but with a Classic Grey interior which I remember being a bit darker than this.
