^^ better to start your own FS thread rather than burying it in here. Most don't bother checking this thread.
...,well, I have decided to cancel the sale of the '79. Euro as a complete vehicle.
I will start a parting out thread soon.
No drivetrain parts will be available at this time, as I would like to keep it mobile for now.
There's an 85 Euro on Galveston CL with only 44k and sport seats. It's very rough, doesn't run and doesn't have a key, but for $3500, might be a good project. At least the seller has the title.

Latest BaT 928 is an '85 Euro reboot from last July which didn't meet the reserve. Current owner has only owned it since October. Claims he's getting too many tickets and therefore has to sell. Hmmmm? Ok.
This thread has averaged more than 500 views per day since it started. That's more than any another thread on this forum. It'd be interesting though to see how many people in the past year bought a car that they saw linked in this thread.

The 81 my father bought back in 91/92 the seller said the same thing. When my father registered the car, the DMV person made a comment on how many tickets the car received with the previous owner.
I never saw a dash, console, door panels, rear console, and quarter panels all in leather with vinyl seats and armrests...nor have I seen a car that late with factory pasha. Leather dash with non leather armrests indicates probable interior creativity. Cool car though.

Interesting. When was the last year you could get a pasha interior?
G'day, thought this may be of interest as a perusal, 1987 S4, 90k, original kilometres, no engine bay pics though, steering wheel is on the wrong side for I...
Looks very tidy, interesting comments by the seller.

Paint doesn't look like original color either. Door jam says it should be non-metallic best I can tell. Neat look though. Appears well done but nowhere near "original."
I have no idea Alex, it cost me NZ$2200 to ship a boat from Long Beach California to my home.
I will make some enquiries for future reference though.
I have requested engine bay pictures.
Incidentally how does importation of vehicles work in your country?, it's not too bad here as long as they pass fairly stringent "compliance" procedures, most "sound" vehicles will pass this test without trouble.
