Graphics on the seats can be deleted. So can the pinstripes on the wheels...

Wow, already 40 pages in this thread!
I like the car, and may replace the 991.1 GT3 with one. Biggest attraction for me is the engine, which hopefully has the reliability issues sorted out.
But am I the only one who finds the front bumper cover, intakes, etc. kind of ugly? To me, that part of the car looks much better on the 991.1 GT3.

The real issue for me with the 991.2 is the sound. I hope that video is messed up somehow.

As I said, there's no way that the car sounds like that! It sounds way worse than the 991.2 Carrera Dyson vacuum cleaners. I bet that those images are computer generated, not actual shoots and the sound is a studio simulation. You can clearly hear there are way too many unnecessary shifts for what the car is supposedly doing on the road.

I think the front looks a bit more aggressive, so I don't mind the front. The rear black intakes I don't care for. The best ever was the design of the 997 RS 4.0. That was incredible.
The real issue for me with the 991.2 is the sound. I hope that video is messed up somehow.

unfortunately many of these awesome machines will end up in the hands of market flippers/brokers who will take delivery and quickly resell them to those pre-owned luxury/exotic shops for quick and huge profit. For those who really want one to drive/keep/enjoy, chances are either you pay a huge premium over msrp or simply watch them sitting in the showrooms waiting for someone that doesn't care paying extra 50k-100k to take one home.
I have contacted all the Porsche dealers in my region, the answers I got were all the same, the allocations priorities are reserved for ones who had bought GT3/GT3RS before and had left their deposits.
Now, if the allocations are reserved for current owners (people who still own their GT3/GT3RS), I agree that it's a fair situation because they are consider the true enthusiasts. However, to reserve the priorities for those who HAD BOUHGT GT3/GT3 RS then RESELL them for profits and still get their allocations for this new generation, that's totally wrong to me.
Anyways enough of my ranting, the .2 GT3 is truly an amazing machine. Congratulations to the ones that have their allocations ;-)
