Thats for my 996 and the Mustang. Not including my motorcycles. It's so d*** high due to my driving record. At the end of 2015 I got charged with speeding and racing. Before I get lectured on racing, it was a BS charge. I was admittedly speeding in the left lane on the interstate passing a string of cars when another Mustang in that line felt I was "challenging" him and whipped out behind me, got right on my tail, just as a trooper was getting on the interstate. Charged me with prearranged speed competition. A year in court later it was reduced to willful speed comp and the speeding charge stuck as is. Suspended license. Not looking for any sympathy, just to explaining why my rates are so high for a late 20s guy. It was an idiot move to be going hat fast and I've been on the straight and narrow for over a year now.

KK, have you thought about getting a trailer hitch for your mustang and have your girlfriend pull you around as you pretend to be driving the Porsche?

KK, my advise for you would be to fix the 996 if it is financially feasible and then dump it. If you are correct about diagnosis, then your car will be on the SECOND engine and THIRD transmission in less than 70k miles. Clearly something is very wrong with your case, or the car is just cursed.
Get it running, dump it to carmax. If you have a loan, still dump it and then pay off the difference.
Sometimes you got to make those decisions. You are spending $5.5k on insurance, that $2k+ you save on not having the 996 will be handy in fixing/modding the mustang.

As for this strategy, Caveat Emptor, I guess, but I wouldn't do it. An average buyer, even one that does a PPI, wouldn't catch the problem, and CarMax won't have your service records.
I'd hate to be the guy that bought your car...
