Thanks for the advice, I hadn't really thought of that. I'm trying not to be blinded by lust for these cars as I receive offers. It might be spring time by the time I save of some money for the repairs. Hopefully the one I end up buying is close to inspection ready at least.

I've got a list of things I need to do to it before sale: install new a/c compressor, replace clock, re-upholster front seats, repair dash crack, replace odometer gear, replace plastic wiper cover, buff and polish the paint and lastly, return fuel injection system to original LH. I've gathered all the parts over the past few months and will be doing the work as time permits. It will be for sale when everything is sorted in the spring. Thanks for your interest.

Seats are in very decent condition with only an inch crack to left drivers side bolster, perfect rear seats and center storage console, minor warping of rear quarter panels, no large cracks to the dash nor pod. Engine intake tubes have no flaking and don't appear painted recently, 85-86 specific tubes are there, intact. Left front headliner is trashed. Speaker grills are still there. Small crack to left front spoiler. Last 4 vin #0153.
Timing belt is intact as best as I can tell from peeking into the intake hole on drivers side.
Some window strips need replacing.
$2500? Not bad. Not a steal but not bad for a G28/11 5 spd with decent interior (no rear AC), and original stereo.
