I make the my house to Sebring round trip 15 - 20 times a year. I live 20 min south (further away from Sebring) than PBI and it is two hours every time for me, including yesterday coming back from NASA event so I'd say the actual drive time between PBI and the track is much closer to 90 minutes. Take the Beeline (710) past PBIR, through Indiantown (couple, three traffic lights) through Okeechobee (five or six lights) on to 98 (no traffic lights) on in to the track. Construction that expanded portions of 710 from two lanes to four past PBIR was just completed making an already quick route even quicker. And PBI is without a doubt the easiest in / out airport out of the options listed above (Tampa & Orlando).

Schedules out but no run group postings yet. I hate being the last run group of the day so hoping for a good color! Nice to finish up, change into shorts and a tshirt, and watch the remaining races.

GT3DE....I WISH! But it got pretty close to a hard frost this past Sunday morning. At drivers meeting it was 32.

Florida natives were in shocked betrayal. We MidAtlantic types were no longer running around in flipflops and shorts feeling smug about having "escaped the cold ".
Tires stayed cold until the third session.

But to Peter's point: Ph Lordy! I discovered there's not a single Indian restaurant in town!

Used to be a reasonable one, but it closed. Safest place to eat is Publix or at Chicanes...

There's still a Thai place but it's a hike from the track.

It may be out in the middle of nowhere but it was fun getting there when I lived in Lithia on the east side of Hillsborough County. First the phosphate mines of Polk county and then the orange groves of Highlands. It took an hour twenty min with a trailer but only an hour in a Porsche.

JX2 should be there too to support the Pirelli drivers.
