Curious to know how many .1 GT3's have both PTS and LWB's? Realizing the lwb's came somewhat midway through the production run and the pts cars were fairly early in the production run. Also, the 30 late pts cars all came with sofa's, but possibly one (not sure about this).

Exactly what I thought.
I know of two Canadian cars, one being "lessthan3mph" who just chimed in with his Fashion Grey and "Jamie140" who had a Riviera Blue. Not sure whether Jamie still has his, it doesn't show on his avatar any longer.

I purchased and imported Jaime140 car.
At first, I thought I'd feel I'd missed out on not having the LWB. (Otherwise jaime140 option spec on this car was insane; he loaded it perfectly). But the 14-ways are so comfortable and I'm 6'3"" 195lb so it's actual working out okay.
Plus, someday assuming I keep the car, I can find always source a set of LWB with silver stitching. Not end of the world. And asmost of you know, they don't hand out any trophies at DE events.

Congrats on getting Jamie's GT3, it's gorgeous. I thought it had lwb's, obviously my mistake, but did he not have additional painted bits around his radio etc?

I think there was 1 of the 10 special signal green cars that was able to spec LWBs. It was up for sale within the last 6 months.

As I recall, one 'Arena Red Metallic' that was
allocated to Beverly Hills Porsche was able to
be modified by the local GM from the regular
seat spec (four way Sport Plus) to LWB. He
also added some other 'cool' options to his
allocation:



This car was for sale in the past year. I was
originally purchased by a collector in South
Florida. It also had a personalized illuminated
sill guard that said 'Kills bugs fast.'

And for the longest time we thought the 'Fashion Grey'
gt3s allocated to 918 VIP 'Anonymous' from that group
of 30 late allocation MY2015 PTS gt3s was also able to
be modified to include LWB. But when it finally arrived,
it was indeed different...but only came with 18 ways
Adaptive Sport Seats Plus.

After extensive reporting on the subject, I think the best explanation
for lack of LWB (Light Weight Buckets) on the 30 late allocation MY2015
PTS gt3s was:

A) They were destined to be given to US dealers that had previously
shown an aversion to the gt2 LWB on previous Porsche models, including
997.2 & 987 Spyders (and probably the original 997 gt2s themselves).
So they didn't think dealers would 'mind' receiving the four-way Sport
Plus Seats.

B) Porsche was experiencing a shortage of LWB seats supplied by Lear
as a result of underestimating demand from actual customers that custom
ordered 991 gt3s and 991 gt3 RS, which where then the only models that
could be ordered with the 918 type LWB seat when it became available.

To my knowledge there were no MY2016
PTS base gt3s built by PAG for any market...
period.

Bronson7, I've previously looked into the 2015 PTS cars delivered in North America. I've just rechecked my records. Here's what I was able to find.

There were 10 cars built in 2015 that were PTS. 6 of these had LWB. Of the 5 Canadian 2015 PTS, 4 of 5 had LWB (including mine and H82BL8's car).

Of the 30 "extra" PTS cars, as Eduardo said, 2 were specced with LWB, one in Fashion grey and one in Arena red met.

So in total, I know of 8 PTS + LWB for 2015 in North America (I have no info on ROW). I don't think any 2014 or 2016 had these two in combination, but I could be wrong.

Just as I thought, .1 gt3 PTS and LWB's are very rare.
