I have looked into some things: First - as far as a real track rental - near impossible due to insurance requirements.
It seems dates have been picked for the 996 weekend - but if the group really wants "track time" - I suggest waiting till the local P club rents out Spring Mountain and we can join them
there is a slight chance I could arrange for us to do "parade laps" at Spring Mountain - at safe speed behind a pace car... this was a kind offer - but that's a long drive down there and back for only parade laps.
Cars and Coffee would be willing to set-up a special area for our group - I know the guy that runs it and can easily arrange for this.

I'm surprised that insurance is the thing preventing a track rental. It's not hard or that expensive to rent a track for the day in Michigan. A couple thousand, gets you the track, flaggers, and ems on site

We ain't in Kansas, Toto. I think earlier someone looked into it and it was about $20K for a day in Vegas. Something on that order or cost. Who here has that info.?
The cart track at Las Vegas Speedway looks fun. I wonder how much that is to rent for a few hours or half a day.
It says the track is configurable. I suggest a figure 8 configuration. The middle intersection makes things much more interesting.
I am super excited! I can't wait to put some names and faces together. Although based off the video Some Russian guy posted from his trip, we might have seen enough of certain faces!
