Thanks Eduardo! Mr. Apenbrink seems to be credited with (or at least was at the launch of) this other beautiful special edition Targa, in the lesser known Slate grey (Y97), to mark 65 years of Porsche Luxembourg! More photos and story here. I think this is stunning, so congratulations sir!! PAG seems to have an eye for the greys of late!

Nice to see some good pics of Y97. I've been trying to find some… thanks.

There's a crazy part of me that can't stop thinking about the *next* build. I keep dreaming of a slate grey GTS, most likely the darker one, but was curious about this shade as it's less common.

Addicted to "grau". ; )

Thank you Daniel and Eduardo, you two are amazing. A couple of years ago if someone was to ask me what is PTS, I would've looked at them and said... what??????? Still waiting patiently to find out "the rest of the story" (Who picked the colours of those late 30 gt3's)

This 991 Targa 4 S is a special edition model made for the 50th anniversary of the Targa, and was made for the French market.
Only 15 were produced.

The complete story

The pictures were taken at the PEC Le Mans. You can spot the trace of the 24 Hours track in the background of the first picture.

928cs, thank you for pointing that out. Yes, I see now that the photos I listed are from the Exclusive Edition.

However, it appears that the exact same looking car (at least on the outside, as far as I can tell) was also branded as the Luxembourgish special edition! They do have different illuminated sills, at least:

Perhaps this is also the story of the similar looking Rennsport Reunion and Jebson editions!

What is the explanation?

Are all the special editions in a given year now similar to create a unified "look" for that annual batch? Or is the Exclusive design team really pressed for time to come up with new versions? Or did they think no one would notice?

Does anyone have more information?

I haven't heard about a Luxembourgish special edition until now, but the Dutch one was at least from a different color:

Thanks to Will for the heads up on these. Unfortunately it looks like all 100 have been snapped up already. Since it's exactly like my gt3 (right down to the wheels, lights, and pccb) it would have been cool to get one. If anyone knows of one for sale please pm me. EDIT: thanks to all who messaged--I've got one now!! Thanks!

Talking C4S V200

My Fashion Grey C4S is finally V200 (as of 11/23). Expected delivery 5/19/17, but hoping for sooner. May see if can add SPASM though (on the fence)…

Thanks to everyone on this amazing thread. Extra special thanks to wolfmobil for letting me see his lovely Rennsport Reunion GTS. So glad I got to see an FG car in person.

Now I wait.

Hi all, I posted this in the official 911R pic thread but thought I should drop some pics in here too. Fashion Grey R delivered Thursday. Apparently one of 3 PTS cars for OZ. First time I've seen the colour in the metal and it looks amazing.

Congratulations!!! And thanks for posting! That is one spectacular car. Can you tell us more about your build? Fashion grey is a really beautiful and constantly changing colour, and I'm sure you'll appreciate its character even more once you see it under different lighting conditions. Feel free to post more photos anytime!

Congratulations. Looks great, especially with the platinum wheels and no hood stripes.

Only Fasion Grey car without them? I've seen two with black ones (one with glossy and one with matte I think).
