I'm still also curious about which start/stop VINs span the GTS line?
Thanks guys..yes would be nice to know and strong number on the GTS production. Thinking of trading my GT4 or selling and buying. Simply an awesome car, but not as comfortable as I would like. Been a lurker here for a long time just to see if the right one popped up. S with powerkit would be great as well. Or even an interesting build with an S. I LOVE the black GTS with the ducktail..but not so sure about it being a 4. Prefer a 2. BTW..awesome thread!

There's a Black Manual GTS with Ducktail at Palo Alto Audi.

No ducktail on that one. Actually, I had taken a look at this car at Terryville Chevy dealer (really low class people there, by the way, especially the owner) in CT before it had been sent to Mannheim auction in Atlanta, where the Palo Alto Audi dealer must have purchased it. For 1250 miles on the odometer at that time, the driver's seat side bolster had a bit much wear on it - several creases, as if someone had been sitting on the bolster a lot or did not quite master how to properly get in and out of the car. I could have bought that GTS for 110k then, without CPO, of course. I'm glad I passed on it, as I ended up buying a nicer GTS for less, with CPO. Now it's listed at 115k at the Audi dealership, as you can see.
I'm in the same situation, I'm not sure the GT4 is a keeper for me, I need more space and I should have gotten one without buckets.
Anyone have leads on a clean GTS without the ducktail or aerokit let me know! anything except black or white.
also considering a graphite grey 50th anniversary!

The worn seat shouldn't be a major let down if the price is right? I'm in market for one. The only thing is Im in TX. The car looks gorgeous tho. Thanks for the feedback!
I live 5 miles away from Audi of Palo Alto. If anyone likes me to check out the car, please feel free to ask. Looking forward to asking the same favor to the community when I spot a car out of CA.

Sure. I would not let a few creases stop you, as it is fairly minor, in grand scheme of things. I'm too picky, usually expecting the car to be in as new condition. Otherwise, it was perfect, no stone chips or scratches that I had noticed and I looked it over very closely then. I would have bough the car if not the attitude of the dealership staff, quite honestly (a bit of a long story).
I'd love to snag a low mileage GTS OR X51 equipped well-optioned 991 myself, but I want one with manual and Aerocup or Ducktail and sunroof and ventilated seats and backup sensors, and I prefer one with backup camera. That's a tall order nowadays with all the Alcantera and PDK GTSs out there. Tougher yet, i want one in Racing Yellow, Guards Red, Orange, or maybe White or Silver, in that order. And no beige or espresso interior. I've been looking for one for 18 months, and have not been able to find one altho I came pretty close a couple of times. So I bought this loaded 2015 C2S in June, and am enjoying it immensely!
The 3.8L 991.1s are a truly great Porsche. But I keep looking for my ideal one. That's what keeps me coming back here to this thread... Holler if u run across my next one!!
