I have EXPEL, nothing more, just wash, no wax, it's just a plastic film, looks great.
My 2013 981B has Expel, same after 3+ years.
Why coat or wax a plastic film designed to be replaced?-Richard

Reason to do xpel instead of just ceramic pro is because ceramic pro won't prevent rock chips while driving

So combining both prevents against rock chips, uv damage, tree sap, droppings, scratches, brake dust, and doesn't need to be waxed or polished
+1. Had the 911 paint corrected, XPEL and ceramic pro 9h when it came to the USA. The car looks wet all the time.

That picture above is a perfect example of the pros and cons of wrapping, depending upon your perspective. It's obvious that the car is wrapped, given the extreme depth/gloss/reflective appearance of the paint. Some love that look, some don't.

That gloss is the coating and not the wrap.

No, not that much gloss. I've coated all my cars. The depth of gloss and level of reflectivity on that car is primarily due to the wrap. If you like that look, it's awesome, but it's easy to tell that the car is wrapped.

I can only assume they removed the badge and put it back on because the xpel is beneath the letters

I agree with you, some colors are more prone to that plasticky look.

Thanks. I like the depth in the paint.

The entire car is not wrapped, and the depth is primarily with the Ceramic Pro.
