Default Replaced Key and Light Switch Bezels

2009 C2S 102K miles

Always bugged me, the last owner scraped up the key bezel so I replaced both light and key. I went from Natural to Black. I never liked trim pieces all painted the same and liked the black contrast; even have black mats. $20 each from Suncoast, all in stock, took 15 mnts.

If I had the bucks, I would have all that silver crap painted black. It looks like Plastidip black would work perfectly...... anywho.... I calmed the voices in my head... for today.

I used shoot2score67's instructions here: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...-on-997-a.html

In case the link gets broken:
1- Key bezel removal: just pry up with a plastic trim tool.... "pop!"
2 - Light bezel removal: Turn lights to off, grab light switch, press, turn to right just a notch (light switch will turn), unit slides out. Unplug switch and remove three bezel screws with T20 bit. Switch just pops back in straight in with no turning.

Peace

Agree with everyone. Looks nice in black and is a nice contrast. I love a full leather dash.

I think it happens if you have other keys attached to your Porsche Key.
I scratched mine too
