Default What car would you add to GT4?

So, my GT4 is a weekend toy car. No track time. Just used for fun enthusiast driving and it has been a blast.
I am starting to plot my next purchase to join it.
Any suggestions?
I've thought about 2015 or 2016 used GT3, 2015 or 2016 911 gts, manual, 911 base, manual. I think the best would be GT3 manual when it comes out but I surely won't have access to one for several years.

Cheers, Brian

991.1 GTS manual

If you already have a GT car, don't see the point of having two...but I guess you can never have too many GTs

2016 GT3, PDK-S and a Manual, you'll have choices then.

It depends what you'll use the car for. I got a Focus RS to drive around town every day. It's great. Fits 5 people, can throw stuff in the back. No issues with it so far. I use the GT4 mainly on the weekends like you. The regular car guy just did a review on it. Highly entertaining.

How about something more in the antique category? Something older, raw, and still unique?

My Z is happy to have a friend...

Why a second GT car? I'd even consider mixing it up with something outside the Zuffenhausen family for a Jekyll and Hyde 1-2 punch. You didn't describe what are primary duties, do you need back seats, space/cargo, etc.

Thanks for the suggestions.
This would be another spoiled weekend car. No back seat needed - Kids are gone
My 2009 BMW 335i is my daily driver.

I know - tough real life decisions....

I've got a 991 c2. It's a great alternative to the gt4. It's almost the opposite of the gt4 in all regards, quiet, more room, pdk, ect. A great GT car imo...we take it on all our road trips.

Almost 8k miles in that car alone in the past year. It's on lease and I'm considering another lease of the 991.2 base or trying to find a 991.1 GTS or maybe turbo.

Hey Brian... the GT3 is a no-brainer if another GT car is your personal first priority but as an alternative how about something else? Like the GT350 or GT350-R?

I did but mine was the other way around since I added the GT4 this past spring.

I've thought about the GT 350. A great car.
For me, I prefer a sleeker look. The mustang is probably too "big" for me.
Yours looks awesome!

If you already have a GT4 and don't intend to track, then (in addition to strongly encouraging you to reconsider that decision), I would knock the GT3 off the list. Multiple RLers who have owned or still own a 991 GT3 before getting their GT4 have said that they find the GT4 more fun overall on the road because even though it doesn't have that screaming motorsports engine, its potential is more accessible on the road.

As for what to consider, you've already got basically the ultimate overall fun road car. If a droptop appeals to you, the S2000 mentioned isn't a bad idea if you can find a nice one, the new Miata is pretty sweet and the upcoming Miata RF variant looks pretty slick to me. Or what about going for crazy power, e.g. GT-R/Z06/some AMG model? Or something further off the beaten path like an Aston Martin coupe or Volante? Aston V12 models still have one of my very favorite stock exhaust sounds.

Or better yet, get something you can turn into a cheap track car (or buy someone else's that's already sorted) and start having some REAL fun rather than having 2 weekend cars.

I use my GT4 for track and occasional cruising but with the Fabspeed GT450 kit and race exhaust it's a LEO magnet. My E92 M3 manual coupe with ESS 675HP supercharger kit and RPI exhaust is actually a great daily driver and I can occasionally take passengers when required.

Recently drove a 2015 GT3 that I was considering it but other than being fast I didn't find it very engaging. I understand why so many customers who have GT3 want GT4's. As a track car the GT3 is clearly a beast but it's hard to exploit it at daily speeds.

Those are great suggestions. Thanks. The looks of the car are key for me. While I love the corvette from the outside, except for the rear, the inside is lacking.
Aston V12 is cool. Ill check out the Miata - certainly less expensive.

I am still leaning towards a 911 Manual of some sort. A 911 GTS manual is hard to find.
