You ever thought about a Land Rover Defender 90? Appreciating. Durable. If you want a different driving experience.

Antiques. Lots of them. You could really enjoy life by having 1 of every generation. I'm getting there slowly.
Storage becomes an issue.

I've always enjoyed Porsches most when there's one vintage Porsche and one modern Porsche in the garage. They don't have to be the "greatest" ones, and each makes you really appreciate the other more.

This is the current pairing...

Very nice Pete! Now imagine putting a GT4 engine in the 914!

This is VERY true. I have my 67, and then a few H2O cars.. they each give me a different kind of entertainment, and make me appreciate certain things about certain generations. its really cool to see how different they all are, yet how similar they all are.

Id say go vintage(ish). 993 or G or cool long nose hot rod....

Ha. I'm good, thank you. Warmed over 2.2 six with 169hp at the wheels is plenty for a narrow car. And the noises are heavenly.

GT4 could use more squirt, however. Especially on CA gas. Need to try some better gas from the pumps at Sears Point.

Exactly. The DNA is evident in each, as is the progression...things lost and gained along the way.
