This is not the case. Champion is not involved whatsoever. This customer chose to take the car to Porsche of West Broward read PENSKE and sell it. We all know this was going to happen at some Euro Imports independent but it's offensive that a Porsche dealer would participate in this BS. This is not the RS or GT4. PCNA chose the extremely lucky recipients. This customers VIP status should be removed.
but like the video said, some of us cannot operate stick shift
and porsheeee are hard to find.

Great idea. Porsche take note!!!! I think that they don't care very much that the 918 owners are making the extra money on the allocations they got as long as they sold all of the 918's at the time. They had to know this was going to happen.

So, after a few RS and R flips, you get to drive your 918 for free. Nice.

Now the challange would be geting your hand on the next equivalent 918 car by Porsche.
As you said, you would be driving a 918 that really cost 300-400k after flipping all the possible special editions between the 918 and the next Halo car. Not a bad deal at all.

mr penske should sometimes look over his dealerships. one of them has not returned my deposit for 12 months after repeated request. it's just $500. i would think the name penske is worth a lot more than $500.
and now this R thing..... whoa... some ppl make money and give out their soul....
maybe i see him in hell.

I saw a silver 911R with no stripes in the showroom yesterday. Didn't look particularly striking in that form. Sales manager told me people routinely walk by the car without even noticing it. Of course, that says nothing about what it's like to drive.
I also had a chance to drive a base 991.2 Carrera with manual. Nice car, but nowhere near the scintillating experience of driving a 991 GT3 or a GT4. So I retract my previous speculation that a base 991.2 might be a plausible and much less expensive substitute for a 911R.

How soon before 'R' stripes show up on every 991 around?
