The Mrs and I usually go for a fun Sunday drive every week. Sometimes just an hour, other days until dark. Always a mystery until we're on the road. Here are some pics from June 26th on a drive to the top of Mt Baker and a few other recent memorable drives in the past 6 weeks. I drive my 996 for business and get to travel on some of the best roads anywhere. Would also love to see where some of you have been lately.
Driving to the Okanagan for a week then heading for San Diego 2 weeks later and working our way back up the coast. Should make for some great pics.
Love the shot of the car in the rain at the track Triple Black. We'll probably drive to Osoyoos this weekend via Duffy Lake/Lillooet/Lytton/Merritt/Princeton even if it rains and will see those curves again. Great roads.
The Nat'l Forest looks amazing too Elumere. Maybe that will part of our drive south.

Even better is Rt 33 - Ojai to Maricopa. Fresh tarmac, the oil-layer is gone, and I passed maybe 2 cars for the entirety of that road. Close to perfect, really.
Plus, Maricopa could double as a Mad Max backdrop, some of it.

Wow, if we drive this amazing looking twisty snake of a road I'll make a point of not stopping, speeding, cussing, speaking Spanish, or praising Allah in Maricopa.
