The road in Wales looks awesome. Reminds me of the San Bernardino Pass from Switzerland to Italy only not so steep. Wish I could have taken pics...

As a Swiss (living abroad), that pass is fantastic to drive. Sadly, back when I did live there, I had no Porsche.

S'all good. We're good for up to 1,000 miles a day in a pinch and we have a 10 day window. Last drive south from here got as far as Los Banos (how appropriate), 1,010 miles on day 1. Made it to LA Dismantlers by 10am on day 2 for a hardtop that matched my paint and interior. Fun trip and glad for the top here in the winter rain. The plan for this trip is to blast down and then take 8 days to find fun roads and places to drive back. Rt 33 has me reconsidering the route for the drive south...

Race all the way down south as you planned, then just push towards 33 on the last leg before entering LA. From Ojai get onto the 1, drive into Malibu in style..

Good thing that 996 has a taco wing. It keeps it firmly planted on the 747.

Looks better than the reality of it, single lane and quite narrow so no room for any errors or tail happy fun. Great pictures alround , love the desert shots, contrasts perfectly with mine. Either way for me the cars the real star of em all .
