Another not classic beater, but a winter daily driver. I risk banishment from the enthusiast community for owning such a sucky horrible behemoth, but:
1. I have 4 children
2. It will haul 4x8' drywall/plywood
3. Its cheap and nearly disposable
4. Its concourse prepared after last weekend. I wanted to practice with my new BOSS orbital polisher from Griots on the metalic/clearcoat paint before threatening the cars I care about. That thing is awesome. Scratches and defects just melt away

BMW's been a daily all year here in Chicago for 8 years, awesome car with the SMG but 150K miles it time for a change. Moving to GL450 with the V8 Turbo for the family and Hockey gear! Wife has the 4.2 Q7 as DD but that things a Tank, she runs into everything!
My beater is the 2006 Range Rover Sport (130k miles) hidden behind my wife's blue RR Sport. I use the beater for airport parking and crappy winter days. Daily drive the 991 whenever possible. The beater is on loan to my son this week, so apologies for the weak picture
I stupidly bought this miserable Juke new for trips up to Tahoe or when I want to go drinking and leave it downtown overnight. Nissans are maybe the worst cars in the world. I should have gotten a Wranger or Tacoma, since then the X1 and Macan have come out that would be much more palatable alternatives as well.
Can I ask you a question? We're you drinking when you bought the Nissan? LOL. Hopefully we'll see you in a Macan in the near future!
That Scirocco is way too nice to be a daily driver - love seeing one on the original wheels! On the other hand, my Prius Plug-In with car pool stickers makes the perfect beater.
This 1st-gen Taco is my workhorse. Aside from poor MPG, it's the reason I can own a 911: it's been forever since I have seen depreciation, needed to pay for a repair outside of normal maintenance, or had a car payment. I ski forty days a year in it: attend bike races in it; make dump and landscaping runs in it, camp in the back with my son. It gets 20k miles a year on the ODO, and is in flawless condition for being 15 years old. And it will probably still be in my driveway in 10 years. As much as I love the 911, the Taco is much more valuable to me (and a real bargain)!
