I don't know if I'd call it my daily driver, but it's the car I use when it's snowing or I need room for either more passengers or more stuff than the 911 can hold.

With almost 190k, the valvetrain looks to be in great shape. Rear seats fold down, $30 fills the tank for about 2 weeks, repair costs are minimal, and it's probably one of the slowest cars on the road.

Another Honda owner. '14 CRV LX, in brown (no picture needed, really). Great in snow, gets all the crowded parking lot duty, airport parking lots, NYC pothole champ using the most attractive steel wheels available. Been in two minor crashes (rear ended twice), no emotional attachment. No rattles, no squeaks, no options. Worst headlights in creation. $179/mo, comes off lease next year, worth every penny. Grand Cherokee Laredo is next.

We often get lucky and have a service loaner vehicle that coincides with trips downtown (or any location where parking is a PITA). Hmmmm... now that I think about it - I'm beginning to believe hubby SCHEDULES service visits around appts involving undesirable parking situations.

I guess I'm finally on to his scheme. Brilliant!

I've got a Suburban. I live in the "Snow belt", just south of Buffalo, NY, so winters can be interesting. Over the years I've driven every AWD or 4WD vehicle there is, and a Suburban with snow tires is the best that I've found.

Comes in very handy when we have 7 feet of snow in three days, and I've still got to get to work. See attached for pics of the Suburban, my house during the storm that dropped 7 feet, and how we "shoveled" the driveway after.
