Default Is it possible the RS eventually becomes worthless?

With all of these value threads lately, I'm curious if anyone thinks the RS will eventually be worth absolutely nothing. Hear me out.. If the next 4 RS's are all NA, Porsche never wins Le Mans again, Marv gets an allocation for a gt3 RS spider at MSRP and the cleaning lady turns out to be really only a cleaning lady, will it send RS values into a downward spiral to $0 never to return? Should we all just sell them now while they have any value at all. As i was ripping around the track yesterday, all I could think about was the value of the car, and how the value was dropping every time I crossed the finish line to complete a lap. And what if the "Z" engine turns out to have a modified fuel filter that does a better job filtering out various particulates. Are the a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h,I,j,j,l,m,n,o,p,q,r,s,t,u,v,w,x, and y cars going to suffer in resale value. Ugh! So stressful! I hope I made the right decision getting an RS!!

The dreaded Zombie Apocalypse perhaps? I agree that perhaps Marv may adversely effect the value of our cars in the near future for some strange reason.

You guys just go drive the damn cars!! Life is too short. These cars are priceless and I am not talking about the money aspect. Live and enjoy the experience.

Somehow I doubt that is what you were thinking about.

If that's the case I have $100 to give you to buy the car now before it becomes worthless. At least you can say you got out before the value became 0.

In theory, everything that exists is inherently worthless unless at least one person has the desire to own it.

I'm not a believer in modern cars long-term, too much technology that will become expensive to maintain/replace in 30 years. I don't think you'll be able to restore and keep running a 991 RS, like you can a 2.7 Carrera RS.

Nate, you make a great point. Maintenance cost as should be high with all the electronics, etc. Now, even the base 996 has retained some of its value and those cars really imploded. Our E,F,G engines are something to behold in comparison. Going to zero? Nah!

While I somewhat agree they likely said the same thing about "modern" cars 30-40 years ago....

Sean, I see you didn't mention the K and Z cars? I guess those are the only two that will hold their value. Any one have a K or Z car, you better hang on to them.
