Default Quick wash and spray wax this afternoon

Saw a Utube video the other day for Maguire's synthetic spray wax so I ordered some and it arrived yesterday. I did not clay bar my Porsche first, and all of my swirl marks or spider webs are still there, but the color is richer and I'm happy with the results. I used a micro fiber cloth to wipe the surface after spraying a mist on an area, and followed immediately with another micro fiber towel. Wash, dry, and wax maybe took 50 minutes. I'll be curious to see how it works after doing some surface preparation . I sprayed the windows, rubber and plastic trim as I did each body panel.

The only way to remove swirl marks and scratches is to do a paint correction.

I love that stuff. That's my go to spray "wax as you dry" flavor of the moment. I bought the economical gallon size.

If you have a black car, I would also recommend the Ultima Waterless Wash Plus as a quick detailer as it basically comes out to like $.60 per botttle or something like that. Keeps it looking clean and takes off any watermarks or dust that can easily show on a black car.

It's the same thing besides the smell. One is marketed towards consumers and can be bought on store shelves. The other is marketed more towards the pro detailer and can only be bought by the gallon. It does come out to be more economical to buy the gallon over the long term.

Thanks. Not bad for a 17 year old Porsche.

Looks great Steve.

I did a quick waterless car wash on my 911 today, but it is already covered in yellow dust. It's pine pollen season in the mountains.

Same waterless wash, but no dust (garaged it). Going to the track this weekend. Gonna look good if nothing else!

We have the same issue with pollen Dennis. My Porsche will stay clean for less than a day.
