Good times
Starting out on fun run. Beautiful day for the event. Was a very interesting 928 parade drive.....wooden bridges, wash-out over the roads, U-turns in middle of roads! All that and we were sober!

These were all parked in the back when I got there. Must be were they tow the broken down ones😎 I only saw Merlin for a second when he drove in before the parade. I think a few took naps instead of getting their cars filthy in the rain on the route. Didn't see Tony either. Maybe napping too. I should have spent more time there instead of just dropping in for the afternoon and drive. I did see Jeannie. She hit me on the arm very hard repeatedly for checking myself in while she was ignoring me

I hate I had to leave. Next year i'm in for the weekend. Had a great time with the folks there, and made several new friends. gbgastowers (Greg?) Hit me up some time.
Curt was my tagalong. Lol. Saw some guy with beer and his thumb up hitching a ride. Im glad he went with me, my car was acting a fool. Going into limp mode thinking about its granny I guess.
Thanks to Curt for knowing who to call when my car started doing this. (Hans the man) I thought he was some old dude that was a fabricating genius...turns out he's a young chap!
Curt and I ended up heading back, but we made a stop at the top of the mountain for a short hike to the top. Great views up there, but it was farther than it appeared!

It's quite unfortunate that all the other folks forgot to bring their camera phones. Or they all stopped working at the same time.
The cars bring us together, but it's the people who are most important. Hope other stook pics and will post them.

I failed to mention, I got a ticket on the way home.
In order to keep my car from going to limp I couldn't let it lug down hills and such. So I wasn't paying attention too much and got clocked at 70 in a 55 on US421 before Wilkesboro.
Funny story, I was going down a fairly long hill, when I started up the other side I mashed the gas for a few seconds. I let out when the trooper hit his siren as he was right behind me.
After he issued a citation he comented how good the car sounded. I told him I didn't know he was behind me when I matted it. He said he thought I was starting to run that's why he hit the siren.
Wife doesn't know about my ticket. I guess I will keep it that way.
