Interesting, very interesting. One year, DR and Jeannnie coordinated for us a private tour. It's only on Friday and it requires a lift tickets to get there.

Last year I drove to the top, my GPS showed a way up and over, but we hit the end of the road near the top of the chair lift. There is a really cool open patio bar at the top with some amazing views. But there isn't much if any legal parking.

They also ride mountain bikes down the hill which is a hoot to watch. I'm might have to rent a bike and give this a try.

Along with the Land of OZ theme park there is Tweetsie Railroad nearby. It's a wild west theme park. I took my boys there a few years ago when I was down for SITM. They enjoyed it.

For those of you attending SITM, I have a number of parts leftover from my'79 928 Spyder build and can bring any of the smaller ones with me in a couple weeks if anyone attending is interested and wants to save the shipping cost. Of particular interest might be the complete clutch and flywheel assembly since that's very heavy and expensive to ship, but I should be able to get it in the trunk.

Just Peachy will not be ready for SITM 16 so plan "B" now in effect. Alex (RL: VanD) is flying to DFW Tue to pick up his new to him 84 Chiffon 928. He will head east to Nashville and will pick me up at the airport. Thu morning head east to "The Dragon" and onto www.ironhorsenc.com. Fri morning head NE to SITM. Look forward to seeing everyone T
