What a great photo!

Really enjoyed meeting everyone this weekend. The Spyder made it home without any issues after splitting off from the group drive at about the halfway point (looks like I missed some if the neatest views - bridge, etc) and now I'm almost to the Charlotte airport headed for Germany.

Safe travels home today guys.

Safe travels, Bill!

The rain had let up some by the time I left at 10:00 for Chateau 'de Pyle.

Farris, noob did OK for himself. Though, Alex(VanD) did ask if I knew that pushing the right pedal made the car go faster. He had the misfortune of being stuck behind me on the Fun Run.

That would be Mike starting to set up the flag for his club.

You will get a ton of mail asking you if you want their services. I would pay one and let them take care of it. It's a big racket to make county money in that area and they have a system in place. Can't speed there anymore
Thanks, I will be getting a lawyer.

Success at Garage 928, seems that Richard and I have come to agreement and he will be building this awesome 79 for me and taking custody of my cool blue 81. Now for a quick stop at Three Dollar Cafe to break the fast and we're off for MEM.

It would be a great idea to post this event on FB somewhere. I, for various reasons am on it every day but am not on RL much any more. Would have attended this with my 40K mile 85 had I known, as I do with my 914 (we stay at the same hotel in October). Would love to see as many 928's as we had 914's (65 914's in 2015) in one place. And that hotel is a great place to host! Please get the word out

Thanks once again to our hosts and to all that contributed to another awesome SITM.

The Canadians are all home safe and sound 15 hours later. A few hick ups, but the sharks made it.

Had a great time! Thanks to our hosts for going thru the trouble of putting this together!
Thank you to the Canadians, Alex, Livio, Michael, and Adam for letting me tag along on the 33 and BRP runs. Already looking forward to next year (with a new steering wheel).
Alex (VanD), sorry I missed you at the 4am trek. Hopefully you waited till it was light. I do not suggest the 421/91 jaunt in the dark, when it's foggy, and raining.
Glen, Tony, and Stan, I will catch you at the next one (no Tony, it will not be 3rd Coast ).
