410mm kit will be the same as 991 GT3 which we have been shipping.

So are you looking for 410 or 380mm.

This caliper is also known as 19Z (fits 19" wheels) made to fit 380x36mm rotor. Below is the image of the caliper and pad:

We will take some measurement on this caliper and determine how big the rotor it can fit in or whether 410mm rotor requires a new caliper or not.

Good News! Turbo S caliper can fit 410mm rotor.

However there is a deficiency, as the pad will stick out more than the rotor edge which is unavoidable due to the geometric change of rotor size - Just like the 997 rotor upgrade kit we offer (oversize from 350 to 380mm).

No worries, we are good at this type of retrofit upgrade development, and we can take care of this concern by providing a modified pad (or you can modify OE pad your own by grinding the top part off), so the lining will line up with the rotor edge just like OE. This modified pad will also be made thicker (19mm vs. OE 16mm) so it provides more thermal capacity and will last longer than OE.

So we can confirm that we can offer both 380 and 410mm rotor kit; iron or CCM. with OE calipers.

Now let's hear from you.

That's great news!

So what does kit pricing look like to reuse the existing calipers at these 2 options:
Option 1 - 2-piece 410mm ceramic rotors at the front (aluminum hats) and proper 410mm ceramic rotors for the rear, your modfied pads
Option 2 - 2 piece 380mm ceramic rotors (aluminum hats)and proper 380mm ceramic rotors for the rear with complimentary pads

Will the performance of this kit essentially match that of the factory PCCB setup with respect to longevity, stopping power, and virtually no dust?

Proposed brake kits are for front only. No rear upgrade due to the rear calipers are of side mount type so it doesn't allow for oversize rotors.

But if the brake kits are with RB calipers then it can be done.

The cheapest possible retrofit rotor kits:
Front: Oversize (394x36) CCM rotor kit (retain OE calipers).
Rear: OE size (360x28) iron rotor kit (retain OE calipers).
So you can re-use OE calipers (front and rear) and pads and purchase this rotor combo kit from RB.

Tentative retail $6,250, with 10% GB discount (10 orders minimum), so your net cost @$5,625 for 4 rotors (2 front CCM, 2 rear iron).

First 3 orders get free shipping. Deposit 30% is required for pre-orders. Leadtime 6-8 weeks after the GB is concluded.

Let's know if anyone is interested. If so please sign up here.

What about oversized ceramic fronts with standard size ceramic rears, or do the rears have to stay iron for park brake or other reasons?

The combo (CCM/Iron) kit is to keep the cost low.

If you are to re-use OE calipers then the rear CCM rotor size is limited to OE (360x28), CCM rotors can be built but the car kit cost will be almost double.

So it all depend on the rear calipers (OE or RB).

I think the later 958 has a 350mm x 34 mm

How would this play into things... any offerings there?

958 is for the latest models from 2011 and up w/3 different front sizes: 330, 350 and 390mm which should follow into one of these combination we offered for Cayenne.

This is the best value kit - Complete RB caliper and rotor.

394mm Carbon Ceramic Rotor fits under OE caliper w/spacer:

OE pad lines up nicely with rotor and requires no modification at all.

I have bought some slotted and drilled brake rotors from chrome brakes by way of CarID for my 2008 cayenne with red calipers and now the Porsche dealer who is going to install them says they do not fit. Is there anything I can do?

What is the reason for them "not fitting". Is had offset incorrect, is rotor diameter or thickness incorrect? Need more info to be able to help. Measurements wouldn't hurt either.

How is it That a larger diameter rotor cannot take up the entire pad? I figured it would be the other way around???

ECS tuning agreed to strongly consider making 380mm replacements if there was enough interest. They already have a 380x38 front rotor but the bolt pattern is only for Audi.
