Ordered GT4 in Guards Red with PCCBs and black satin wheels. Planned to have calipers painted guards red to match car color. Wondering if I should leave them yellow or consider another color like black or polished silver.
I left them yellow on my GT Silver Boxster GTS because I think the yellow looks good with the silver. But on guards red I'm afraid the yellow might clash. Yes, I realize this is silly superficial stuff but I love design and color and how it all works together!
My rosso scuderia (Looks like Guards red) challenge stradale has silver color pccb's and it looks fantastic on a red car. I would definitely paint it though. I have seen people (on RL) calling the red GT4 with yellow pccb's the McDonald car. I would vote silver first then red second. cheers
I'd leave them alone - they look good, changing them costs money, and changing them might cause you issues (like flaking) down the road. A lot of my Tesla brethren want to paint their calipers red (if they have base grey) and there has been mixed results - that on a car that barely uses the brakes. I'd leave things the way God (or Porsche in this case) made them.
people are modding the heck out of their GT4s - why stop at painting calipers if you want to?
so paint them if you want to; what matters is that you like it
