Man oh man, I would have loved this to be posted 2 months ago when I was shopping. Almost went with an 01' 996TT but the miles and price where not that great of a value (115k or so for 32k). I bought a 99' 996 factory Aero car and absolutely love it. The 996 will eventually become a collector car (I hope...if not oh well mine will be driven hard, every day I can, and well looked after).

GLWS this is a beauty. Can't believe about the flakes...just outrageous. Idk how Credit Unions are in the rest of USA, but my local one often does new auto loan rates on used cars 04' and newer (this last time they had NO AGE limits) meaning instead of tying up 25k cash, I pay under 2% apr, yeah it is sometimes hard to say I have a lien on such an old car....but I'm making much more investing, moral, look at local C.U and that might help you sell (if you'll take a certified check from a C.U, that is, also credit for best rates with my CU is 780 FICO)

Pentagon Federal Credit Union will loan up to 100% of the NADA (lower than Kelley Blue Book) value no matter what the age is. The high (Excellent) KBB value for this car is $38,675 so that is the absolute maximum pretty much any financial institution will loan on it. Pentagon Federal won't "ding" the value due to the minor body repairs so anyone should be able to get full financing for the car if they want to. I would think this car will sell any minute now. GLWS!

Wow, just caught onto this thread. Beautiful car and I'm interested (hoping it has memory seats...I know, sounds like a dumb requirement...). Let me know if it's still available.
Cheers!
