Default WTB: Standard Exhaust for 991 S 3.8L

Category: Engine - Exhaust
Price (no $ sign please): $1
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Location (Region): SoCAl
Item Condition: Used

WTB: Standard Exhaust, for 991 S 3.8L

I want to reverse retro-fit my PSE
If you are in SoCal, or a neighboring state, lets talk

In addition to what we agree on as a sell price, I'll pay for labor, to swap to your new exhaust, if I can be there, to take the Standard Exhaust, when it gets removed.

It needs to be from a 991 S 3.8L
I believe this is the part # I am looking for:
991 111 331 05
or
991 111 337 01

jsr991, Thanks for responding!
That would be a perfect system to get.
Unfortunately, you are right, shipping costs would be rediculous.
I supose the reality is, that I need a SoCal seller.

How do you like the PSE?
Is it that different in tone and/or volume?
With either exhaust, did you get a high pitch rattle from 7K to redline?

Not sure what you were looking at paying for the exhaust system. My guess is it would cost me about $100-$150 to ship. If you would like me to get an exact cost let me know. It is all boxed up and still at the dealer, couldn't bring it home in the 911.
After one day I am very happy with the PSE. Deeper tone and much more volume. I really enjoy the sound. Definitely attracts a lot more attention, can't say if that is good or bad.
I am happy that I can turn it off when required. I have not noticed a high pitch rattle over 7k however don't spend much time in that range. I did spend some time in the zone this evening to check that out but did not hear anything.
My service advisor told me that it will sound better after about a week??????

Wow, I like that your system is all boxed up.
If you have rough dimensions on the Box and your Zip I can check on shipping costs to 92122.

I'm glad to hear the new PSE is more to your liking.

I will do that, however I won't be able to get you that info until later next week when I am back to the dealership to pick it up. Hope that is ok

That works.
Perhaps, still send me your zip code so I can check shipping, with some guestimated dimensions.

Hi Lunarx,

I sent you an email regarding your PSE. It may be useful. Either way, good luck with the exhaust.

Cheers,

B

I see you are kind of far from San Diego, which won't help on shipping costs.
