Default 1997 C4S Detailed

This car was picked up in Florida and the paint(and leather) needed some TLC.
First few pictures are the defects.
The next pictures are after the first 2 paint correction steps.
Couldn't get pictures of the final step results. The car was picked up at night and put to bed in a hurry before the rain

Nice work. Did you use a DA with m105 and m205? What was your LSP? Great work as always! I'll be trying my hand on my 944 that will be here in a week...

This is a car I did in June...Won't be long and I'll take care of yours!
Didn't have time to post pictures was busying selling the 964 and buying the 951, taking care of Tyler and his arm, DE days, life , etc....
Missed you in September...Get your schedule sorted for the events in '13!
Cheers,
Dwane

Default Thanks

It really did need some TLC. Thanks for the great job....not to mention all the helpful info!! The only drag was that it rained the day I picked it up!

Menzerna 1500.... interesting. I guess you had to do another polish after with something with less cut? Pinnacle Souverain wax is nice choice for great looks. How many cars can you do with a tin? At over 100$ I hope that you can do few cars. Just curious, why menzerna and not m105? I'm asking because I want to stock up on some products and was wondering what to get for a guards red car....

I will surely be coming down to show you the car. I'm picking it up on Tuesday and then it will be crossing Canada on Friday...

Cheers,

Ryan

Just read up on the Menzerna and if it is the PO83 you might not need to do a final polish after... Looks like a nice line of products...

Agreed Dwane, have to get my schedule in order next year, spent more time wrenching this year than driving...

BTW, when are we going to see your new avatar? Need to show that guards red machine in action!

Technique and products go hand in hand.
Tried the 105 Didn't like it.
Tried Menzerna thanks to another 'lister and fell in love with the whole line. Let me see the paint and I'll give you a good plan of attack.

Wish Pierre would have caught my spin in the esses. That would have been a great avatar!
