Only kidding.
A few people were.
I didn't and neither did most of the people around me.
It was loud - but in a fantastic kind of way. It wasn't painful or deafening.
I have some video with sound - but don't know how to post/link to it. Any ideas?
Needless to say any video I have wont do justice to the sound at the time.

Don't know who exactly organised it or in fact who funded it ( I assume the team owners) However I read that Bernie E would have had to have given his consent, and perhaps the event was seen as a bit of PR excercise for the forthcoming British Grand Prix to be held this coming weekend.
