GOOD, RESPONSIBLE, DETAILER in SFL?
GOOD, RESPONSIBLE, DETAILER in SFL?
Am I asking for too much?
I have emailed, called and get no responses, I have met with guys that I would not give a bicycle to wash let alone my car. WTF is with finding anyone in SFL who takes pride in their work.

You have to call "Chino". He's the best. He'll come to your house.
I've used him several times but not recently.
Call Wheels Botique on Bird Rd. and ask them for his number.
If you talk to Ben or Bucky tell them Doc or Ranger referred you.

email / left messages for that guy multiple time never bothered to get back to me.
Business must be good.
The search continues and I continue to be reminded what a service wasteland I live in.

I call it L.B.S., "Lowest-Bidder Syndrome". Everyone here wants it "cheaper", quality be damned. So, the pride-of-workmanship service people (like myself) get sick and tired of being out-bid by some unlicensed, uninsured and in-experienced dirt-merchant, then we pack up and leave or can no longer afford to stay in business.

I use Richie Carbone. One of 3 guys in Florida that are certified to do a true paint restoration detail. He's done my last 2 Porsches. Just amazing!

Lots of coin for a fancy car wash and paint (reduction) which is what I call that. You are removing clear from that paint finish when you do that. Next time you do that you might hit the basecoat.

I have wondered the same, and I am very interested as well. The 993 needs a good polish. Ive called a couple of "reputable" home detailers and have been very disappointed, I could have done the same job (cost me about $150) but thats 150 out the door.
